Pagan is passionate about empowering creatives to follow their dreams using her "Bestseller By 21" success story, and teaching the business side of authorship.
As a result of kickstarting her career so early, Pagan's workshops and talks are especially approachable, relatable and highly motivating for young adults interested in pursuing creative and entrepreneurial pathways.
Pagan is available to conduct the following talks and workshops:
1) Empowerment Talk
Bestseller by 21: how Pagan overcame her publisher's bankruptcy, navigated two publishing deals and built an international author brand. This is an empowering and motivational talk.
2) Writing Workshop
A 90 minute workshop teaching Pagan's signature Storyteller Framework (a formula that empowers students to release any pressure around their writing and finish a first draft quickly. This is perfect for developing skills with short stories and improving with literacy assignments).
3) Authorship Workshop
Behind the scenes of self-publishing and traditional publishing, what full-time authorship looks like and how to pursue writing and authorship as a career path. Pagan will walk you through everything from starting out, to the insider publishing process, to taking full control of your own books and brand.
Testimonials:
“Pagan Malcolm attended our school recently to facilitate a writing workshop with our students. Pagan was professional, engaging, and she made writing fun! I appreciate Pagan’s creative approach to writing, her attention to detail, and her ability to bring students’ writing to life. She obviously put a lot of thought and expertise into her workshop design, as it was very effective. The writing produced by our students improved by the end of our time with Pagan. I’m planning on having Pagan facilitate another workshop at our school in the future.”
- Melissa Ellis, Aviation High School
