Journal Prompts:

• What currently feels out of alignment for you?
• If you were handed $1M tomorrow and you could do anything, what would you choose to do?
• What is no longer serving you in your life?
• What do you truly desire to do, have, be and experience?
• What is the most obvious next step you know you need to take (even if you don’t yet know how or why)
• What do you want your life to look like 5 years from now?

 

Considerations:

• How do you plan to make money as an author? What are all of your income streams that you’ll need to factor in?
• What are your personal strengths and weaknesses? (Example: I’m great at email marketing, not so great at running ads).
• What is your big picture vision? Does your strategy support it? Is it sustainable long term? (Hint: posting 200+ times a day in Facebook Groups is not a sustainable book marketing strategy)
• What goals does your strategy need to accomplish? Does it need to bring in book launch revenue? Does it need to sustain evergreen book sales? Does it need to promote your Patreon consistently? Does it need to build your brand awareness outside of your own circle of followers?

• What does being an author look like and feel like to me?
• What has held me back in the past that I’m now prepared to face head on?
• What beliefs do I carry with me about authorship, sales, success, etc?
• Which of these beliefs are supporting me? Which beliefs are limiting me?
• How can I shift these beliefs and tell myself a new story?
